When I was playing Sonny 2, I noticed that a few people were asking how to beat The Baron. Since I sympathized with them (Having been in their position before.) I decided to make this topic to help them out.

Now, the easiest way to beat him is to be a Biological. Yes, I know, it is the easiest class, big deal. It is also very effective against many of the other bosses.

Make sure before the battle that you have Disrupt fully upgraded. With it upgraded it instantly destroys 100 Focus on your target, and attempts to do 2 Debuffs on the target. One of the best parts is that it only uses 40 focus, which should be easily regenerated if you had the sense to put points into Integrity.

When you enter the fight with The Baron, immediately use Disrupt. Now, you may wonder why you should take away his Focus, considering he has around 50,000 health, but you will see the very next turn why you did that.

When The Baron hits 0 Focus, he enters a stage where he takes away about 5-7 thousand health away over several turns to regain his Focus. During those turns he can't attack or do anything, so be sure to get some hits in on him. Also, you should have Veradux set to Defensive Mode (Don't set him to Phalanx unless you, him, or Roland take a lot of damage.) so that he can get in some attacks too. Roland should be set to Aggresive Mode during the fight, so that he can use his minor healing ability on himself if needed.

Now you'll have to go through the process of using Disrupt and attacking several times, and The Baron will give your party some punishment during then. You shouldn't be surprised if Roland or Veradux dies (Heck, both of them might die before the battle ends!).

When The Baron hits around 10,000 health, the process of Disrupting should come to an end. You should definitely watch out for his attack, "Tick Tock," As that does serious damage by the time the effect ends. From there, just attack him with everything you've got to try and take out the rest of his health.

It can be a hard fight, but if you know how to face him, it becomes a breeze.

First of all, disrupt costs 15 focus, so integrity gets you more focus than you had last turn:)

Also if You just always use disrupt and dont even worry about anything else all he will use is his focus regen move and electrical storm (lightning attack)

loco- Yeah, I know I probably should do that. The only problem is that I'm having trouble doing so- the fight becomes much harder when using Psychological or Hydraulic, mostly due to the fact that Biological is the only one with a low-level Focus-wiping spell. I tried to take Baron on with a Psychological, but most of the time spent before I died was hiding behind my shield and attacking my allies for health.

soccer- Yes, it's true if you just use Disrupt and not worry he will take you down easily. What I'm trying to get at with Disrupting is to use that as the outline for the battle, or whatever. Of course you should keep attacking him! Otherwise he will crush and brutally murder you. You should keep using your other attacks while utilizing Disrupt when the opportunity arrives. But thank you for putting your post, so as that other viewers don't get confused.

All classes can defeat the baron easily.
Bio spams disrupt, and vera can easily heal his electric storm every other turn.
Hydro just keeps him in a stun lock, it takes some time (regulate doesn't kill focus fast enough) but he'll go down eventually.
Psycho...has some different ways too.  Traumatize and haunt can get him down to 0 focus before the stuns run out, then an implosion causes him to do massive damage to himself.  Some shock coma thingies with retrograde might also work.

Tick tock does 10% of your current health as damage each turn, for 10 turns, and reduces healing by 50%.  If you're a hydro, you can easily tank it with guardian form, cold neuro, and ice wall.  When I did that, damage went down to..3 per turn.

With psch I just used traumitize and it worked for me.

Also on the baron fight you might want to turn autosave off because if you get lucky you can get his unholy runeblade which gives 43 strength, and something like 28 vitality. It gives some instinct and speed too, and also 97 shadow piercing. Thats really all I can remember about it.

So just quit if you don't get the blade and try again.
