   Maybe cause it lies on the equator haha. I'm used to it, and I spend most of my time inside anyway where there are air cons so it's nice and all.

   LOL I just found out WHY you like REM so much... they started in "Athens" in the States!! HahaHAAA!! Busted... =D

   Well... I would say I like "The One I Love", "Shiny Happy People", Losing My Religion", "Everybody Hurts" and "What's The Frequency, Kenneth", the standard known hits by them some... but only when they play them on the radio, I wouldn't play them myself! ;)

   And I know about "Automatic for the people", I think my girlfriend has it... but I still can't be persuaded to buy a copy, sorry! *grins* =P

   I'm not sure how it's like in Southern California, but it's hot all year round, and we're just finishing up our last few torrents of sudden heavy rain, before we hit the really hot part of the year.

   And yeah, heard that a lot of the homeless were living well a year ago, until the crunch. At least, if I can trust BBC.

   I didn't say I "don't like REM at all", I simply can't be moved by his voice and their type of music... it's fair enough to say I can enjoy listening to one of their (good) songs whenever it is played on the radio, but I wouldn't buy a CD from them... mm-kay? ;)
